"Sock Monkey" is the latest incarnation of the musical duo of John Vere and Curt Garrison.  The band performs an eclectic mix of Bluegrass, Folk, Blues and many of Vere's original songs.  The pair are both seasoned and skilled musicians, having played a wide variety of musical genres in many different groups over the past three decades.  Between them they play an impressive array of instruments. Garrison, known for his 5 string banjo also sings and plays guitar, 12 string guitar and bass while Vere sings, plays guitar, dobro, mandolin, keyboards, drums and bass as well as writing inspiring original songs.
